1. RETURN ELIGIBILITY

Items That Can Be Returned

Most items purchased from Surf Club can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, provided they meet the following conditions:

  • Items must be unworn and unwashed
  • All original tags must be attached
  • Items must be in original packaging (if applicable)
  • Items must be free from makeup stains, deodorant marks, or odors
  • Accessories must include all original parts and packaging

Items That Cannot Be Returned

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned:

  • Swimwear (if hygiene liner is removed)
  • Underwear and intimate apparel
  • Face masks and protective gear
  • Pierced jewelry
  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or purchased with a discount code of 50% or more
  • Gift cards
  • Custom or personalized items
Important: Items that show signs of wear, washing, or damage will not be accepted for return and will be sent back to you at your expense.

3. HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

Easy Return Process:

  1. Initiate Your Return
    Log into your Surf Club account and go to "My Orders" or click the return link in your order confirmation email. Select the items you wish to return and the reason for return.
  2. Print Return Label
    After submitting your return request, you'll receive a prepaid return shipping label via email (for US orders only). International customers will receive return instructions.
  3. Pack Your Items
    Carefully pack the items in their original packaging or a secure box. Include the return confirmation email or packing slip.
  4. Ship Your Return
    Attach the prepaid label to your package and drop it off at any authorized shipping location. Keep your tracking number for reference.
  5. Receive Your Refund
    Once we receive and inspect your return (typically 2-3 business days after delivery to our warehouse), we'll process your refund within 5-10 business days.

4. EXCHANGES

We're happy to exchange items for a different size or color within 60 days of delivery!

Exchange Options:

  • Direct Exchange: Return the original item and we'll ship the replacement once received (fastest option)
  • Purchase & Return: Place a new order for the desired item and return the original for a refund

We offer free return shipping on your first exchange for each order. Simply select "Exchange" as your return reason when initiating the return.

5. REFUND PROCESSING

Refund Timeline

  • Inspection Period: 2-3 business days after we receive your return
  • Processing Time: 5-10 business days after inspection approval
  • Bank Processing: Additional 3-5 business days for funds to appear in your account

Refund Methods

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refunded to the original card
  • PayPal: Refunded to your PayPal account
  • Surf Club Gift Card: Refunded as store credit
  • Afterpay/Klarna: Refund processed according to their terms
Note: Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

6. INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

We accept international returns within 30 days of delivery. Please note:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service
  • Any customs or import duties incurred on returns are the customer's responsibility
  • International returns typically take 15-20 business days to process
  • Refunds will be issued in USD to the original payment method

7. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

8. SALE ITEMS & PROMOTIONS

Sale Item Returns

  • Items discounted 0-49%: Standard 30-day return policy applies
  • Items discounted 50% or more: All sales are final
  • Bundle deals: Must return all items in the bundle for a full refund
  • Buy One Get One (BOGO): Return of the purchased item requires return of the free item

Promotional Credits

If you used a promotional code or credit:

  • The discount will be prorated across all items
  • Refund amount will reflect the actual amount paid
  • One-time use codes cannot be reinstated after return

9. GIFT RETURNS

Received a Surf Club gift? We make gift returns easy!

Gift Return Options:

  • With Gift Receipt: Full refund issued as store credit
  • Without Gift Receipt: Store credit for the current selling price
  • Direct Exchange: Exchange for any item of equal or lesser value

Gift recipients can initiate returns at returns@surfclub.com with the order number (if available) or the purchaser's email address.

11. EXCEPTIONS & SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

Extended Holiday Returns

Items purchased between November 15 and December 31 can be returned until January 31 of the following year.

Wedding & Event Orders

Can I return items to a Surf Club store?

Yes! Items purchased online can be returned to any Surf Club retail location for immediate refund or exchange.

No problem! We can look up your order with your email address or order number.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders can be cancelled within 1 hour of placement. After that, you'll need to wait for delivery and initiate a return.

Do you offer price adjustments?
